The Atlas of Canada Website Redesign
As part of the Atlas of Canada redesign team, I helped improve the website's information architecture, user experience, and accessibility. I created a custom web banner showcasing the Atlas's evolution from 1906 to today, and contributed to user research, and content and design reviews. I also led the launch campaign, which included social media, newsletter features, content updates, cross-linking across Government of Canada sites, and personally designed the roll-up poster used for events.
GEO.ca Website Redesign
As part of the GEO.ca redesign team, I contributed to enhancing the site's information architecture, user experience, and accessibility, supporting the team's mobile-first design strategy. I assisted with user research and stakeholder engagement, participated in A/B testing of interactive prototypes, and provided design feedback to developers. I also helped create a style guide to ensure visual consistency and tested the new semantic search demo, relaying usability feedback to the development team. Additionally, I collaborated in weekly sprint reviews to refine layouts and user flows.
GEO.ca Permafrost Community
As the lead for GEO.ca's first dedicated Community Space, I developed a central hub offering permafrost data, tools, and resources from across Canada to support research and decision-making. I curated content through detailed regional research and collaboration with stakeholders like the Canadian Council on Geomatics Task Team. I also sourced and secured permissions for photos and managed most web content updates using WordPress.
GEO.ca GeoAI Data Series
As the lead for the strategic communications plan for the GeoAI Data Series release, I designed a custom web banner showcasing Deep Learning extraction of buildings, hydrography, forests, and roads from aerial and satellite imagery. The plan also featured coordinated social media posts, a highlight in the quarterly branch newsletter, a spotlight presentation at the 2025 GC Data Conference, and ongoing content updates to the GeoAI webpage.
Canada's Collaborative Geospatial Data Strategy
As the co-lead for the strategic communications plan supporting the Collaborative Geospatial Data Strategy for Canada callout, I designed a custom web banner to promote public input on the future of accessing, using, and sharing location data. I conducted a pre-launch UX review to ensure clarity and content accuracy, and supported the rollout through social media, newsletter features, and a spotlight at the 2025 GC Data Conference.
